Jewelry Basics Part 1 

 

 

Description:  This is a basic jewelry class for wire work.  Learn how to choose the tools you really need, how to make loops correctly and how to choose types/sizes of wire in different materials.  Come to class and find out all you need to get started in jewelry making.

Description:  This is the second class teaching wire work.  Learn to make several pairs of earrings.  Perfect your loops.

Jewelry Basics Part 3-bracelet

 (prerequisite Jewelry Basics Part 2)

 

 

Description:  This is the third class teaching wire work.  Learn how to make wire components and do a nice gallery wrap technique.  You will leave class knowing how to put a bracelet together.

Mokume Gane Polymer Clay Beads or Buttons 

 

 

Description:  Create captivating pieces of polymer clay with many metallic layers.  You will learn the mokume gane techniqueÉa Japanese metal working technique.  By manipulating the clay you end up with lovely patterns.  This technique lends itself to many forms of oven-baked polymer clay.  You can choose to make beads or buttons.  Both will be explained.

Description:  Learn to make intriguing striped patterns and then shape your own buttons.  You will leave class with finished buttons.

Zigzag Bracelet

  

 

Description:  This simple, delightful pattern is from Africa.  Zigzag Bracelet is done with a needle and thread technique.  Variations you can try after class will also be discussed.

Chevron Bracelet

  

 

Description:  A great bracelet for playing with color.  If you choose to use Swarovski crystals then it will have just the right amount of sparkle for some *bling*.  This graceful bracelet is very comfortable to wear.
